
Memory Companions Terms of Service
Memory Companions tutoring service provides one-on-one memory and cognitive focused activities and games to help support those experiencing decline, while focusing on reinforcing concepts, addressing challenges, and fostering confidence.
Tutors don't provide care as a direct caregiver, yet they are genuinely vested in each client's well-being and achievements.
Activities are made to be fun, challenging, and provide a positive hands-on approach to learning and practicing skills while chasing away boredom!
New client tutoring sessions are available on Monday & Tuesday of every week.
Daily tutoring limit for each client is one session per day.
Service limit is one client per tutoring session.
60-minute($40) & 90-minute($60) tutoring sessions are offered between 8:00am-5:00pm Daily.
Clients that live independently are encouraged to discuss these services with friends and family. This will allow a team approach to provide the best possible outcome from the tutoring services offered.
Clients that require a caregiver must have an adult caregiver present at all times during tutoring sessions.
Clients that live within a Retirement Community must secure permission from their facility for our tutoring visits.
Service Area: Charlottesville, Crozet, Waynesboro, Bridgewater, Staunton, Albemarle and Augusta.
Memory Companions games and activity sessions are offered to Seniors at-home, Senior Independent Living, Retirement Communities, and Senior Assisted Living residents.
Tutoring must be booked and paid one week prior to session(s) requested.
All tutoring cancellations confirmed with our office via telephone or email 24 hours prior to the scheduled session will be be provided a full refund of the cancelled pre-paid session.
Wednesday-Sunday tutoring sessions are exclusively reserved for established clients.
All tutoring clients are encouraged to wear personal protective masks during tutoring sessions to help prevent exposure and transmission of illnesses.
